What if my VlogBox gets lost in transit?
Every VlogBox is sent and returned using a fully tracked, next-day UPS service.
We've successfully delivered footage to 100% of our VlogBox customers. But parcels can occasionally be delayed or misrouted, and when something contains irreplaceable wedding memories, even a temporary delay can be stressful.
That's why we don't simply choose the cheapest delivery option. We use UPS for a fully tracked next-day delivery and return service and actively monitor shipments throughout their journey.
And for 2027 weddings onwards, every VlogBox also includes OTrack.
OTrack: extra protection for your wedding memories
Included with every VlogBox for 2027 weddings onwards.
Your wedding footage is irreplaceable, so we've added another layer of protection to every VlogBox.
OTrack is our purpose-built location tracking system, embedded inside each VlogBox. It uses GPS, Wi-Fi and cellular networks to help us locate a package if it is delayed, misrouted or lost while travelling to or from your wedding.
Why we've built it
We already use a fully tracked next-day courier service, but courier tracking can only tell you so much.
If a VlogBox containing your wedding footage ever goes missing in transit, OTrack gives our team an additional way to help locate it; allowing us to investigate problems faster and giving your memories another layer of protection.
It's there for the moment we hope never happens.
Designed with privacy in mind
OTrack is designed to protect the VlogBox, not to track you.
We don't routinely monitor where you go or what you do while the VlogBox is in your care. Its purpose is to help us recover equipment and, most importantly, the memories stored inside it if something goes wrong during delivery or return.
Location data is only retained while the VlogBox is away from us and is automatically deleted once it has been returned.

More than parcel tracking
Courier tracking tells us where a parcel was scanned. OTrack can help tell us where the VlogBox actually is.
It's another small part of the professional infrastructure behind Lovio, designed to make something very important feel a little less risky.

Is my wedding footage backed up?
Yes, extensively.
Once your VlogBox is returned, your footage enters our professional storage and backup system.
Within approximately 24 hours of ingest, we aim to have five copies of your original files across onsite and offsite storage.
We've built our storage infrastructure around the fact that these aren't ordinary files. They're moments that can't simply be recreated if something goes wrong.
That means multiple copies, separate storage systems and offsite backup help protect your footage while it is in our care.
Once we deliver your files, it's important that you download them promptly and create your own backups too. We recommend keeping your wedding footage in at least two different places for long-term safekeeping.
While your memories are with us, we treat them like they matter. Because they do.
Will you share our wedding videos?
Not without your permission.
Wedding footage can make fantastic marketing content. We could fill our social media feeds with clips from hundreds of weddings captured using VlogBox.
We deliberately don't.
Your wedding isn't our content library.
We think of VlogBox footage in the same way you might think about home videos or a family photo album: personal memories that belong to you.
We will never publish or share your wedding footage for marketing purposes without your permission.
And your footage isn't routinely sent to third-party editors either. Access remains in-house and is limited to members of the Lovio team who genuinely need it to fulfil your order, such as where you've purchased an editing service.
Your wedding. Your memories. Your choice whether anyone else sees them.
How secure is Lovio?
We've invested in the infrastructure behind the service too.
Our equipment, systems and customer footage are handled from our dedicated business premises in Carlisle.
For obvious reasons, we don't publish the details of our security arrangements, but our premises include professional CCTV, alarm and security systems designed to protect our equipment, operations and the footage entrusted to us.
Security also extends beyond the building itself, with dedicated storage and backup systems helping protect customer data.
You probably won't ever see most of this.
That's the point. The complicated part is our job; your job is to enjoy your wedding.
Can I trust Lovio with my wedding?
We've already helped capture more than 500 weddings, and we're building Lovio for the long term.
