Carbon Net Negative
Not at some future date, but from our creation. Many businesses face the challenge of decarbonation, but we're starting with our impact in mind. That's why we are and promise to always be Carbon Net Negative. That means we remove more carbon dioxide from the atmosphere than our business activities create.
Inherently Sustainable
By the nature of what we do, we help others to keep their impact low, by hiring we increase item utilisation in it's lifetime, reducing the need for new units. And by having items returned in the same packaging they're shipped in we reduce packaging waste, and maintain full control of its end of life, ensuring it's 100% recycled. We're committed to providing solutions to reduce e-waste.
Giving Extra
In addition to our carbon offsets to achieve net negative, we also plant 2 trees for every order. This supports carbon sequestration, biodiversity and spreads awareness. We're also developing ways to support charities and causes, especially those supporting women and girls.

We utilised the UK Government GHG Conversion Factors for Company Reporting 2025 to calculate our emissions. This was our first year of business, so no comparison is possible at this stage. We anticipate a slight decrease in materials purchased and goods inbound in 2026, as we continue to use existing stock and purchase less new rentables. With an increase in Goods Outbound and Returns as we process more orders.
Waste (Refuse):
Refuse (Incineration with waste recovery): 156kg (estimate)
From late 2025 we're measuring refuse and will be able to provide actual figures in 2026 reporting. Our goal is to minimise all waste, especially refuse.
Waste (Recycling):
We are not actively tracking recycling weight, but have estimated our waste as 100% of our purchase of cardboard and paper materials, since most are returned to us and disposed of by us.
We have taken additional steps to reduce the weight of our cardboard packaging on single item orders from 230g to 154g, a 33% reduction. This has a positive effect on reducing the weight of cardboard recycling and on transport emissions.
Offsets
We have taken steps to create a low emissions business and have very small emissions, at approximately 11Kg CO2e/wedding in 2025. To ensure we don't have a negative impact on climate change, we've purchased removal offsets: Verified Afforestation, Reforestation and Revegetation (ARR) projects
These projects remove existing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and are higher quality than projects that only prevent emission. The ARR projects has been purchased in addition to the tree planting that has been funded with Ecologi, because those trees are unmeasured and unverified.
Calculation
We have calculated our emissions figures in-house and they are unaudited. We have made every effort to utilise the best available GHG conversion factors and include as much data as possible, utilising our financial records, to produce accurate data. As a micro-entity we are not required to calculate or share any emissions data publicly, and to do so with a third party or audited is extremely expensive and would not be possible at this stage of our business. We're committed trying to find the best solution for calculation for a business of our size.
